We are looking for a M/F FINISHING MANAGER FOR PAINTING & PLASTERING to strengthen our team and ensure excellence in the execution of our works. The main goal of this position is to ensure the rigorous supervision and management of all operations related to painting and plastering finishes on our various sites. It involves ensuring that the work carried out meets the highest quality standards, while respecting deadlines and allocated budgets. You will be responsible for the technical compliance of the works, the correct application of techniques and materials, and the performance of the teams under your responsibility. Your role will also be to propose and implement continuous improvements in finishing processes to optimize productivity and quality.
Your daily tasks will include:
Planning and organizing the interventions of the finishing teams on different sites, in coordination with other trades.
Supervising and controlling the quality of painting and plastering work, from surface preparation to the final coats.
Managing the supply of materials and consumables, ensuring cost control and product quality.
Managing and motivating operational teams, ensuring their training in best practices and new techniques.
Providing technical support for sites, identifying non-conformities, and proposing quick and effective corrective solutions.
Writing progress reports and regular technical summaries.
Ensuring compliance with safety rules on construction sites and the good condition of workstations.
Participating in the preparation of quotes and the analysis of bids from specialized subcontractors.
Being the technical referent for all issues related to painting and plastering finishes.
Required profile :
To excel in this role, a solid academic background is required. You are expected to have at least a Bachelor's degree (Bac +4). Ideally, your higher education will be focused on specializations such as Methods, Process Engineering, or Industrialization. This theoretical foundation must be complemented by a thorough understanding of implementation techniques in the field of building finishes.
Significant experience is essential to confidently face the challenges of this position. We are looking for someone with 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role or in technical positions related to finishes in the Construction / Civil Engineering sector. Previous experience in team management and site management would be a major asset. Your professional background should ideally include managing complex projects and resolving specific technical issues in the field of painting and plastering.
