Our company is opening its doors to a promising talent for the position of Analyst. A purchasing, supply chain, and inventory analyst analyzes purchasing & supply data, as well as inventory, to determine and prioritize performance levers for streamlining the supply chain, reducing costs, and improving operational efficiency, in collaboration with all internal teams (Purchasing, Supply Chain, and Warehouses). They are responsible for updating business indicators for departments, interface indicators, and supervising inventory.
Main missions
- Data Analysis: Collect and interpret inventory, purchasing, and supply data to identify improvement opportunities.
- Inventory Management: Monitor inventory, minimize surplus, and prevent shortages, manage 'dead stock', and govern the item database.
- Coordination: Liaise between purchasing, supply chain, warehouse departments, and interface departments like S&OP, Packaging, Maintenance and Production specifiers, etc.
Required profile :
To succeed in this role, we are looking for someone with a strong academic background, ideally a Bachelor's or Master's degree (Bac +3/Bac +5). A professional license or Master's degree in purchasing, logistics, or supply chain management with 2 to 3 years of experience in supply chain or purchasing. Whether in the agri-food sector or a related field, this experience will have familiarized you with purchasing processes, supplier management, and flow optimization.
Beyond your education and experience, your personality and behavioral skills will play a key role. You possess great rigor and a keen sense of organization, essential for successfully completing complex supply chain tasks. Your ability to negotiate effectively and communicate clearly and concisely will be a major asset in maintaining fruitful relationships with our partners.
