Job :
The childcare educator plays a key role in the development and well-being of young children. Their main tasks include:
Care and Hygiene:
- Ensure the hygiene, nutrition, and safety of the children.
- Provide daily care, like changing diapers and helping with meals.
- Observe children to detect any signs of illness or discomfort.
Education and Development:
- Set up educational activities suitable for the children's age to support their cognitive, motor, and social development.
- Use games, songs, and craft activities to encourage sensory and intellectual awakening.
- Encourage interaction between children to develop social skills.
- Help children express their emotions and resolve conflicts in a positive way.
Collaboration and Communication:
- Communicate regularly with parents to inform them about their child's development.
- Offer advice and support to parents regarding education and home care.
- Work with other educators, childcare workers, and early childhood staff to ensure consistent care.
- Participate in team meetings to discuss children's progress and needs.
Management and Organization:
- Organize and plan activity programs, respecting the children's rhythms and needs.
- Adapt activities based on observations and feedback from the children.
Safety and Environment:
- Ensure the safety of play and learning areas.
- Create a welcoming, supportive, and stimulating environment for the children.
Administration:
- Keep children's records up to date, including health records and activity reports.
Required profile :
- Hold at least a Bachelor's degree (BAC+3) in early childhood education or equivalent.
- Have a mandatory experience of three (3) years in the field of early childhood.
- Be between 20 and 35 years old.
