Qatar Airways has an exciting opportunity to join our Commercial team in Casablanca, Morocco as Country Sales Manager.
Main responsibilities will include:
- Based in Casablanca, you will manage a sales team of 7 people within the Casablanca and Marrakesh corporate and leisure teams with the objective to exceed commercial targets.
- Develop and rationalise the allocation of resources, skills and activities to drive profitable revenue and reduce cost of sale from priority sales channels.
- Responsible for the strategic direction of the sales team, defining the optimal way to increase sales through commercial actions and partnerships.
- Structure and implement sales plans to optimise Qatar Airways (QR) revenue and presence in the market for key, strategic and national accounts.
- Improve focus and alignment of key distribution channels in Casablanca and Marrakesh markets with QR distribution strategy.
- Formulate and implement strategies with the sales team to maximise revenue from existing accounts and drive revenue streams from new business.
- Recommend the sales strategy for the region.
Qualifications
The successful person will have the following:
·A proven record of success in corporate and leisure sales leadership within the airline or travel industry.
·Expertise in negotiating and managing complex corporate and leisure portfolios with a consistent track record of exceeding commercial targets.
·Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and relationship-building skills.
·Exceptional communication skills, data driven mindset.
·Fluency in English (written and spoken).The ideal person will have excellent geographical knowledge and contacts within the Morocco region.
The legal right to live and work in Morocco is mandatory for this role.
