Roles & Responsibilities
Job Description: ALTEN supports its client in its project management activities within the TS-TC (Train Control and Train System) entity. The system engineer is responsible for the development and integration of train equipment (air conditioning, doors, battery, etc.). The mission consists of: Managing system requirements (drafting, updating, monitoring); Managing suppliers (documentation, planning, clauses, etc.); Verifying compliance with specifications; Validating the conformity of supplier deliverables (3D design, wiring, functional, industrialization); Participating in technical meetings with the client; Drafting, participating in, and leading equipment performance tests; Participating in change committee meetings; Interfacing with other project teams (Control and Command, 3D Design, Wiring, RAMS, Validation).
Desired Candidate Profile
- Education: Master's degree (Bac+5) in mechanical engineering, mechatronics, electromechanics, embedded systems
- Experience: 3-5 years
- Required skills
- Technical skills: Requirements management, supplier management, DOORS (an asset), knowledge of electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
- Soft skills: Facilitating meetings and managing progress on topics; Analytical skills; Practical mindset (ability to put oneself in the users' shoes); Initiative and autonomy; Escalation of alerts to supervisors and decision-makers
- Languages: French, English (fluent/master, spoken and written)
