Job Description: Develops strategies to maximize outlet profitability while maintaining high service standards. Oversees the planning and execution of special events and promotions to drive sales. Analyzes the outlet's financial performance and implements corrective measures as needed. Ensures compliance with food hygiene, safety, and customer service standards. Monitors market trends and adjusts the menu and offerings accordingly. Manages customer complaints effectively and proactively to ensure satisfaction. Implements initiatives to enhance the customer experience and increase loyalty. Collaborates with other hotel departments to ensure a consistent overall experience. Maintains adequate inventory of supplies and products necessary for the smooth operation of the outlet. Involves staff in ongoing training sessions to maintain exceptional service levels. Evaluates individual team member performance and identifies opportunities for improvement. Participates in management meetings to discuss overall hotel objectives and strategies. Represents the outlet at promotional events or trade shows to increase visibility. Uses data and analytics to make informed decisions regarding promotions, menus, etc. Manages the administrative aspects of the outlet, including budget management and financial reporting.
Desired Candidate Profile
Experience and Education: Bachelor's degree (Bac+3) or Master's degree (Bac+5) in Hotel Management, Hospitality, Tourism, Business Administration, or a related field. At least 3 years of professional experience in the food and beverage department, ideally in a high-end or luxury establishment. Technical Skills: Excellent command of food and beverage operations and the daily management of one or more points of sale (restaurant, bar, lounge, room service, etc.). Strong financial management skills, including budget preparation, performance indicator monitoring, cost control, and profitability optimization. In-depth knowledge of hygiene standards, food safety regulations, and applicable food and beverage industry regulations. Good understanding of LQA (Leading Quality Assurance) standards and the ability to ensure their daily application to guarantee excellent service. Personal Qualities: Excellent leadership skills, with the ability to mentor, motivate, and develop teams in a process of operational excellence and service quality. Excellent analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills in a demanding and constantly evolving environment. Strong customer focus and a keen sense of operational excellence, ensuring a personalized and memorable experience for every guest. Excellent communication, customer relationship management, and complex situation resolution skills. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to effectively manage priorities in a dynamic and demanding environment. Initiative, autonomy, and strong decision-making skills. Continuous commitment to improving customer satisfaction and optimizing operational processes. Languages: Excellent command of French and English, both spoken and written. Proficiency in a third language is an asset.
