Roles & Responsibilities
1. Design and Modeling: Develop functional system models using MATLAB/Simulink, adhering to Model-Based Design (MBD) principles. 2. Compilation and Debugging: Compile and analyze C code generated from the models, and correct any anomalies. 3. Validation and Testing: Perform Model-in-the-Loop (MIL), Software-in-the-Loop (SIL), and Back-to-Back (B2B) testing to ensure the conformity of the models and code. 4. Requirements Analysis: Review and validate functional specifications to ensure their consistency and feasibility. 5. Software Problem Analysis: Identify, diagnose, and resolve anomalies related to the models or embedded code.
Desired Candidate Profile
Qualifications- Holder of a degree in electronic engineering, embedded computing or systems, with 1-2 years of minimum experience.
- A very good level of English is required.
Tools and languages- Proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink (including Model Advisor, Design Verifier)
- Using Git/GitHub for configuration management
- Proficiency in CANOE/CANalyzer for CAN network simulation and analysis
- Good level of C programming knowledge for embedded development
- Knowledge of UDS and OBD protocols (major asset).
Standards and norms- Knowledge of ISO 26262 (automotive functional safety)
- Knowledge of AUTOSAR (automotive software architecture)
- Application of MISRA C guidelines for embedded code
Sector knowledge- Solid understanding of automotive systems and communication protocols (CAN, LIN, etc.)
- Proven experience in Model-Based Design and embedded software development
