Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver high-quality, engaging lessons aligned with the American curriculum.
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment that promotes academic, social, and emotional growth.
• Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of students.
• Assess student progress using a variety of formative and summative assessment strategies.
• Maintain accurate records of student achievement and provide timely, constructive feedback to students and parents.
• Build strong relationships with students, families, and colleagues to support student success.
• Integrate technology effectively to enhance teaching and learning.
• Participate actively in curriculum development, professional learning, and school initiatives.
• Contribute to the wider life of the school through extracurricular activities and school events.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Bachelor or Master's degree in Education (essential).
• A valid teaching license/certification from a recognized authority (essential).
• Experience teaching students in Kindergarten, Grade 1, or Grade 2 within an American or international curriculum.
• Strong understanding of early childhood and elementary literacy, numeracy, and child development.
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
• Native-level or fluent English proficiency.
• Experience in an international school environment.
• Familiarity with inquiry-based and student-centered learning approaches.
• Experience working with multilingual learners.
• Knowledge of educational technology and digital learning tools.
