Job :
You will be responsible for carrying out flexibility studies for piping networks and associated supports, to ensure their mechanical strength and compliance with specified requirements.
- Gather input data, organize and carry out the production of assumption notes for piping calculations
- Model piping networks using specialized software (Pipestress, Caesar II, Editpipe)
- Perform flexibility and support calculations for lines.
- Carry out static, dynamic, modal, and seismic analyses
- Check stresses in piping according to applicable codes (EN 13480, ASME, CODETI, RCC-M).
- Check loads transmitted to equipment, valves, flanges, and supports.
- Define or optimize support solutions and necessary design modifications
- Write calculation notes, methodological notes, and technical reports.
- Participate in technical meetings with the "piping" team, general installation, civil engineering, and clients.
- Ensure monitoring of piping calculation production in compliance with TCD (Technical, Cost, Delivery) requirements.
Required profile :
- Graduated from an engineering school or holding a Master's degree in mechanical engineering, structural analysis, or equivalent qualification
- Significant experience in using mechanical calculation software and in carrying out studies
- Knowledge of structural mechanics and material strength
- Mastery of steel piping flexibility calculations
- Experience in piping, support, or structural calculations.
- Analytical rigor, autonomy, and writing skills.
- Technical English required
