Safran Aircraft Engines (SAE) is a Safran Group company. With nearly 15,000 employees across 31 sites in 9 countries,
we design, develop, produce and market, alone or in cooperation, engines for civil and military aircraft, as well as for satellites.
SAE has a network of civil engine maintenance workshops worldwide and offers its customers a full range of services: performance restoration, replacement of parts with limited lifespan, inspection and maintenance of the entire engine and its equipment.
To cope with the increased demand for LEAP engine maintenance in the coming years, Safran Aircraft Engines Services Casablanca (SAESC) has launched the construction of a new shop in Morocco.
Our new workshop, located in the Casablanca-Settat region, will handle the maintenance of new types of civil aircraft engines (LEAP), which notably power the Airbus A320neo and the Boeing 737 Max.
As Project Manager - Continuous Improvement, your objective will be to ensure the deployment and implementation of the Continuous Improvement approach at the site, guaranteeing performance, smooth workflows, and the continuous improvement of operational processes, based on the group's standards and best practices.
Let's talk about you
- Deploy and promote operational excellence standards (QRQC, 5S, IP) on the Site, and assess their maturity
- Identify, coach, and support continuous improvement projects with operational teams
- Contribute to the development and monitoring of the site's Progress strategy (Hoshin Kanri)
- Train employees in problem-solving methodologies and tools (Kaizen, Lean Six Sigma)
- Prepare and lead periodic performance reviews
- Manage operational projects related to site start-ups, ramp-ups, and expansions
- Manage layout, visual management, and production area organization activities
- Share best practices between SAFRAN sites and CI activity reporting: KPI monitoring, gains measurement, action plan coordination, and multi-site reporting.
Job Requirements
- Engineering degree with 3-5 years of experience in roles such as: Continuous Improvement, Methods.
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt training/certification
- Fluent English
- Proven experience in team or cross-functional management
