We are seeking an experienced Accounting Services Manager to join our team and oversee the accounting services provided to our clients. The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of UAE VAT regulations, expertise in VAT filings, and a strong understanding of UAE corporate tax laws. In addition to managing accounting services, this role will also involve sales responsibilities and business development initiatives to expand our client base and strengthen our market presence. When required will need to step up to assist team members in completing the services provided to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee all aspects of accounting services provided to clients, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timeliness.
- Stay updated on UAE VAT regulations and guidelines and ensure clients’ VAT filings are prepared and submitted accurately and on time.
- Provide expert guidance and advice to clients on VAT-related matters, including registration, compliance, and reporting requirements.
- Handle corporate tax filings for clients and ensure compliance with UAE tax laws and regulations.
- Develop and implement strategies to attract new clients and expand business opportunities for the tax and accounting firm.
- Cultivate strong relationships with existing clients and identify opportunities for upselling additional services.
- Collaborate with internal teams to streamline processes, improve efficiency, and enhance service delivery.
- Stay informed about industry trends, market developments, and competitive landscape to identify potential opportunities and threats.
- Represent the company at networking events, conferences, and industry forums to promote brand awareness and foster business relationships.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. ACCA or CA certification preferred.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in accounting, with a focus on VAT compliance and corporate tax in the UAE.
- In-depth knowledge of UAE VAT regulations, tax laws, and compliance requirements.
- Proven track record of successfully managing accounting services for clients across various industries.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to identify discrepancies and resolve issues effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to drive sales and business development initiatives, with a results-oriented mindset.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite, with advanced Excel skills.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple deadlines effectively.
