• Review tender documents, Specifications, Drawings, Bill of Quantities “BOQ”, and ensure that clarifications are raised well in time to get better clarity on bid submission.
• Cost Estimation for Saudi Arabia Mega Scale Projects involving various end users, such as SAUDI ARAMCO, Red Sea Global, SWA (SWCC), and NWC.
• Prepare engineering calculations, preliminary designs, layouts/general arrangement, equipment selection, single line diagram “SLD”, installation details, labor histogram, project schedule and execution plan.
• Study all projects electrical systems as OHPL, medium voltage, low voltage, or low current and control systems and all electrical equipment and devices such as RMU, switchgears, transformers, generators, MDP, MCC, VFD/VSD, SDB, DB, UPS, Security Systems, … etc.
• Divide the project into packages, create a Request for Quotation “RFQ”, and coordinate with the procurement team to contact suppliers and subcontractors to obtain price offers.
• Conduct comparison studies for suppliers and subcontractors’ quotations after evaluating suppliers offers and checking compliance with tender requirements.
• Develop breakdown cost estimation in response to the client’s Bill of Quantities “BOQ” and the client’s specific requirements.
• Create commercial and technical proposals to ensure prompt and accurate compliance with the client’s requirements.
• Prepare handover for the project along with the project budget to be submitted and shared with the operations team.
• Monitor the project budget to ensure that all the project items are finished within the budget.
