- Study the project contract documents (time schedule, project design drawings, BOQ, Specs, MOS, ITP, quality &safety plan, contract.).
- Ensure receiving IFC drawing from consultant
- Prepare and issue necessary shop drawings/ Submittals for all allocated tasks and collect the action from consultancy then proceed accordingly
- Coordinate shop drawing for all disciplines then send for consultant approval
- Study and prepare requests for information (RFIs) for all missing, unclear, conflicting or other technical matters that may arise during construction and coordinate between disciplines.
- Ensure and Consolidate as-built drawings from site engineers and Surveyor at the end of the project and hand over to the project consultant
- Review projects specs and scope of work, local potential vendors /subcontractors
- Conduct bidding meetings, negotiate prices, and evaluate technical and financial proposals.
- Develop value engineering studies for item efficiency and cost reduction.
- Establish and negotiate contract terms and payment conditions.
- Monitor contract life cycle and evaluate subcontractor/supplier's performance.
- Prepare procurement plans periodically reports.
- Train team on effective procurement procedures and strategies
Proven working experience as a Procurement Manager. Knowledge of sourcing and procurement techniques as well as a dexterity in “reading” the market Talent in negotiations and networkingA bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.Related Field Experience: 10-15 years of relevant experience as a technical office engineer ( Infrastructure , HVAC , Plumping) is required .
