Job Brief:

Serve as the primary liaison between the marketing and finance departments, facilitating collaboration to drive informed business decisions and support sustainable growth and success. Analyze and evaluate business proposals from both commercial and financial perspectives, offering recommendations and approvals as necessary. Responsibilities encompass conducting feasibility studies, overseeing forecast and budget preparations, and monitoring performance against targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Gathering and Analysis: Collect and organize relevant data from internal and external sources. Analyze and interpret the data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can be used for reporting purposes.
  • Report Preparation: Prepare comprehensive and accurate reports based on the analyzed data. Ensure that the reports are structured clearly and concisely, presenting the information in a format that is easy to understand by stakeholders.
  • Supervise the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and 5-year business plan, as revenues, and direct costs of the commercial activities to ensure building the department’s targets in line with the corporate strategy.
  • Supervise the preparation for in-depth analysis related to the customer base and behavior, compare trends for different periods and segments, and provide recommendations based on results to assist in maintaining a growing profitable business
  • Supervise setting sales targets per segment and analyze actual performance with the planned
  • Compliance Monitoring: Monitor and assess compliance with regulatory requirements, internal policies, and industry standards. Identify any deviations or potential risks and report them to the appropriate stakeholders.
  • Report Delivery: Present reports to senior management, executives, and other relevant parties. Use data visualization techniques and tools to enhance the understanding and impact of the information presented
  • Prepare and manage all Board and Group performance-related and ad-hoc reports
  • Process Improvement: Continuously assess and improve reporting processes to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and timeliness. Propose and implement solutions to streamline data collection, analysis, and reporting procedures.

leadership/management

  • Manage subordinates’ learning & development requirements and ensure that it is successfully delivered and provide related feedback to the management
  • Assign roles and workload distribution, set team objectives, and conduct regular informal one-on-one meetings to deliver personalized feedback and provide support to attain goals
  • Conduct a formal performance evaluation process for the subordinates in order to optimize workplace productivity
  • Participate in the recruitment, selection, and evaluation process of new employees
  • Provide guidance and delegate responsibilities to subordinates to facilitate performing different tasks to support the succession planning process
  • Manage subordinates' administrational requirements
  • Assure that all subordinates are following Umniah’s policies and procedures and highlight any violation of the code of conduct
  • Manage economic, efficient, and effective budget plan and control in alignment with the department and Umniah’s strategy
  • Ensure that employees are engaged and motivated by creating a respectful and trusting relationship with them and communicating Umniah values
  • Demonstrate flexibility in management by accommodating individual employee needs such as adjustable schedules or remote work options
