Job Summary
Our client are seeking a motivated Indoor Sales Officer who excels at creating and closing new sales opportunities. Using a consultative approach, you will leverage your expertise to identify and qualify leads, driving sales opportunities with both new and existing customers in the shipping, transport, and logistics industry.
Responsibilities
- Sell shipping, transport, and logistical services through proactive sales calls and rate proposals.
- Provide sales results information by preparing detailed sales reports and documenting call results.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand our customer base.
- Maintain and update the customer database regularly to ensure accurate and current information.
- Perform shipping operations as necessary to support sales efforts.
- Achieve assigned sales targets and contribute to the overall success of the team.
Qualifications
- 2 to 3 years of quota-carrying sales experience in a shipping company.
- Proficiency in CRM systems and experience in managing customer relationships effectively.
- Demonstrable track record of exceeding sales quotas.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage and persuade customers.
- Candidates must have a car available for work-related travel.
- Experience in RORO (Roll-on/Roll-off), containers, and forwarding is a plus.
