Job Summary

Our client are seeking a motivated Indoor Sales Officer who excels at creating and closing new sales opportunities. Using a consultative approach, you will leverage your expertise to identify and qualify leads, driving sales opportunities with both new and existing customers in the shipping, transport, and logistics industry.

Responsibilities

  • Sell shipping, transport, and logistical services through proactive sales calls and rate proposals.
  • Provide sales results information by preparing detailed sales reports and documenting call results.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand our customer base.
  • Maintain and update the customer database regularly to ensure accurate and current information.
  • Perform shipping operations as necessary to support sales efforts.
  • Achieve assigned sales targets and contribute to the overall success of the team.

Qualifications

  • 2 to 3 years of quota-carrying sales experience in a shipping company.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and experience in managing customer relationships effectively.
  • Demonstrable track record of exceeding sales quotas.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage and persuade customers.
  • Candidates must have a car available for work-related travel.
  • Experience in RORO (Roll-on/Roll-off), containers, and forwarding is a plus.
