Summary of Role
The Component Lead for Climate Finance Mobilization and Governance will focus on increasing access to finance for climate adaptation and mitigation while strengthening governance and citizen engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategies to ensure equitable finance flows and enhance transparency in climate action.
- Collaborate with financial institutions and stakeholders to increase access to funding.
- Design governance frameworks that promote transparency and citizen engagement in climate decision-making.
- Monitor the effectiveness of finance mobilization efforts and governance practices.
Qualifications:

- Master’s degree in finance, Environmental Policy, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in Climate finance mobilization, governance, or climate policy.
- Strong understanding of climate finance mechanisms and funding sources.
- Fluency in French; proficiency in English is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Experience in advocating for marginalized voices in climate-related discussions.
