§Direct, control and evaluate the provision of Customer IS Integration:
-Pre-sale IS Support (costing, solution design, IS sales presentation)
-Project Implementation
-Post-sales IS support
Senior Management Team and Business Entities
§Provide IS consultancy on IS issues like:
-Business projects with IS content
-The selection of network related hardware and software
-Other business decisions requiring IS expertise
§Direct, control and evaluate the provision of Business Services:
-Planning core application deployment
-Resolving problems with GIS, Cyberjaya Data Centre’s services
-Business needs analysis
-Sourcing local software solutions
-Developing local applications
-User training and on-going user support
-Pre and post sales support
-Intranet and Internet content management
§Direct, control and evaluate the provision of Technical Services:
-Resolving problems with GIS, Cyberjaya Data Centre’s services
-WAN and LAN management
-Future network planning and engineering (hardware and software)
-Network exploitation (e.g. voice and data)
-Communications hardware purchases
-Network administration, performance monitoring and tuning
-Communication software acquisition, installation and optimisation
-Desktop server system planning and administration
-Unix server administration (where local applications are based on Unix/Informix)
-Database administration
-Desktop services
-Vendor and service supplier interfaces
-Help Desk
§Coordinate with global/ regional customer integration functions i.e. BP&O, CPM and GIS, Cyberjaya Customer Integration team.

§Contract negotiation, problem escalation, etc.
Process
Country IS Management
§Participate in business strategy planning.
§Develop IS budgets in a timely manner in accordance with the company planning cycle and regional schedules.
§Set performance targets and goals for the IS Department in alignment with national plans and budgets.
§Rationalise the deployment Windows NT servers, desktop and laptop units in order to provide high service levels at an appropriate cost.
§Ensure that Service Level Agreements for all services provided by the IS Department to the business are prepared and in place.
