Logistic Responsible (French Required)

Location: Kinshasa, DRC

Contract Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities:

The Logistic Responsible is responsible for overseeing all logistics operations within the company. This role involves ensuring the efficient management of goods flow, inventory, distribution, and delivery, while adhering to timelines and cost control.

Logistics Operations Management:

• Organize, coordinate, and optimize the company’s logistics operations.
• Supervise the receiving, storage, and distribution of goods.
• Ensure the smooth functioning of the supply chain processes.

Inventory Management:

• Monitor stock levels, anticipate needs, and optimize restocking processes.
• Ensure inventory accuracy and product rotation.

Team Coordination:

• Manage and lead the logistics team, ensuring continuous training and skill development.
• Implement performance indicators to assess the efficiency of logistics operations.

Supplier and Transporter Management:

• Negotiate with suppliers and logistics service providers.
• Monitor contracts and ensure the quality of services from transporters and other partners.

Safety and Compliance Management:

• Ensure that logistics operations comply with safety standards and regulations (environmental, health and safety).
• Ensure the proper management of logistics documents (delivery notes, invoices, etc.).

Cost and Time Optimization:

• Identify and implement solutions to reduce costs while improving service quality.
• Establish procedures to ensure optimal management of delivery timelines.

Required Profile:

• Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
• Experience: 4 to 7 years of significant experience in logistics management, preferably in an industrial or commercial setting.
• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in logistics software (ERP, Excel, etc.) and inventory management systems.
• Knowledge of transportation regulations and safety standards.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage priorities effectively.
• Key Qualities: Strong organizational skills, analytical mindset, excellent team management and communication skills.

Additional Requirement:

• Language: Proficiency in French is a must, both written and spoken, as the role involves coordinating with local partners, suppliers, and team members in French-speaking environments.
