Roles & Responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced Project Planner to join our project team in Rabat. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and monitoring project schedules for large-scale infrastructure projects, ensuring effective planning, progress tracking, and reporting throughout the project lifecycle. The ideal candidate has strong expertise in Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project , proven experience in infrastructure project planning , and preferably exposure to railway projects and ONCF standards/processes .

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and update detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project .
  • Establish project baselines, milestones, critical paths, and resource-loaded schedules.
  • Monitor project progress and performance against approved plans and timelines.
  • Analyze schedule variances, identify risks and delays, and propose mitigation and recovery plans.
  • Coordinate with project managers, engineering teams, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure accurate schedule integration.
  • Prepare periodic planning reports, dashboards, KPIs, and progress updates for management and clients.
  • Support project forecasting, resource planning, and schedule optimization activities.
  • Participate in project reviews, planning meetings, and risk assessment sessions.
  • Ensure compliance with project planning standards, procedures, and contractual requirements.
  • Maintain schedule integrity and support project controls functions throughout the project lifecycle.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 5 years of experience in project planning and scheduling for infrastructure projects (transportation, rail, roads, utilities, civil works, etc.).
  • Strong proficiency in Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project .
  • Solid understanding of project planning principles, critical path analysis, and project controls.
  • Experience in schedule development, progress measurement, and performance reporting.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary project environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in railway infrastructure projects .
  • Knowledge of ONCF processes, standards, and project execution practices .
  • Familiarity with Earned Value Management (EVM) and advanced project control methodologies.
  • Experience working on large, complex, or multi-stakeholder infrastructure programs.
