Your role: As a DRE (Flying Arm/Airbag Organic PIV) Engineer, you will lead the technical development of safety components within your scope and ensure their compliance with quality, cost, delivery, and performance requirements throughout the product lifecycle. In this role, you will be responsible for: Leading the development of the Flying Arm/Airbag scope from the specification phase to series production. Performing simulation and justification activities for components to validate their compliance with technical requirements. Conducting crash simulation studies and calculation/test correlation using LS-DYNA. Developing and monitoring quality deliverables such as DFMEA and DVP&R. Participating in APQP and PPAP activities in collaboration with suppliers and project teams. Managing project aspects related to planning, costs, and supplier coordination. Analyzing and resolving quality issues during series production and providing support to production plants. Ensuring the achievement of performance, quality, cost, and delivery objectives. Priority: Crash Simulation (LS-DYNA), Crash PPE Calculation, and Steering Wheel/Airbag Development. Desired Candidate Profile

Your profile: Master's degree (Bac+5) in mechanical engineering, automotive engineering, or equivalent. Significant experience in the development of automotive components related to occupant safety. Strong command of numerical simulation tools and crash calculations. Proven experience with LS-DYNA and calculation/test correlation. Knowledge of DFMEA, DVP&R, APQP, and PPAP methodologies. Project management and supplier management skills. Ability to coordinate cross-functional activities in an international environment. Professional fluency in French and English.
