Purpose:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Business Analyst with expertise in Power BI to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating, recommending, and managing datasets, and using these to build and maintain dashboards that provide insights into various operational areas. The role involves consulting on support services, testing services, and working closely with the business to identify and implement process improvements.

Principal accountabilities:

1. Dashboard Creation and Management:

• Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards tailored to each operational area.
• Identify key metrics and create visualizations that provide actionable insights.
• Ensure data accuracy and reliability in dashboards and reports.

2. Data Management:

• Recommend, create, and manage datasets necessary for dashboard creation.
• Maintain and update datasets to reflect the most current data available.
• Work with data teams to ensure data integrity and quality

3. Consulting and Support Services:

• Provide consulting on reactive, proactive, and enhancement support services.
• Offer testing services to one or many applications as required.
• Address user queries and troubleshoot issues related to Power BI dashboards and datasets.

4. Process Improvement:

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify opportunities to streamline processes and reduce waste.
• Propose and implement continuous improvement initiatives, including process mining, automation, and data science.
• Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to improve existing products.

5. Collaboration and Communication:

• Work closely with technical teams to integrate new technologies and tools.
• Engage in continuous learning and knowledge sharing within the team.
• Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.

EDUCATION/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

• Master’s degree in business, Data Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Business Analyst with a focus on Power BI.
• Strong knowledge of Power BI, and data modeling is highly required.
• Experience in dataset creation, management, and data visualization is highly required .
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Knowledge of process improvement methodologies and tools.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in process mining, automation, and data science.
• Familiarity with other data visualization tools and techniques.
• Certification in Power BI or related fields is highly required.
• Experience in consulting or support roles in a business environment.
