We are looking for a proactive, result-driven, focused, ambitious and experienced Sales Manager.



This person is responsible for supporting the Director of Sales and his Team in consolidating the Hotel within specific markets and market segments, securing business and forging long-lasting relationships with key advisors and end-clients.



Main Duties and  Responsibilities:




  • Drives and manages accounts production by excellent account management

  • Maintains strong relationships with the existing client base and improve loyalty

  • Proactively prospects new business and brings it to a close generating new revenue streams for the property, and meeting property sales strategy

  • Proactively follows up on quotations and actively engages with clients to maximize conversion of business

  • Autonomously arranges external sales appointments / sales trips, site inspections and fam trips when appropriate and relevant for every segment

  • Inputs activity on the Hotel’s database, ensuring time efficiency and data accuracy

  • Determines the accounts' needs, Hotel's objectives, and marketing activities of each assigned market/account

  • Continuously communicates the benefits of the Hotel to clients and showcase our Resort

  • Meets the objectives as set forth by the Director of Sales & the Director of Marketing & Commerce

  • Be accountable for all targets and goals set for area of responsibilities

  • Attends departmental and hotels meetings when requested by the DOS

  • Develops marketing intelligence, new products ideas, competition activities, new customer trends and performance

  • Supports company's philosophy and company’s culture through the use on a daily basis of our Guiding principles, our Departmental "Legendary Quality Experiences" standards to ensure Guest Satisfaction, and the achievement of our Vision and Mission Statements

Specific Requirements:




  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent work experience

  • At least 2-3 years of experience as leader in sales – Previous Five Star/Luxury Hotel Sales Experience is essential

  • Must have an established network of connections

  • Strategic Account Management on assigned markets

  • Strong presentation and interpersonal skills

  • Excellent business negotiation and customer relationship management skills

  • Available to travel abroad

  • Fluent in English and French, a third language would be an advantage

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

  • Has a proactive mindset & Good problem-solving skills

  • Team-player

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and HMS, Delphi

  • Must work well in stressful high-pressure situations; maintain composure and objectivity under pressure

  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to work in dynamic and fast-changing environment

  • Proven negotiation skills required; must be able to persuade and influence key decision makers in the marketplace

  • Understands the importance of closing the business

  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule that will accommodate the achievement of all business goals and directives
