We are seeking a Lean Coordinator who will support the deployment of APM Terminals WoW, assist the functions/department to leverage the APM Terminals WoW maturity.
The candidate will primarily focus on the Standard Work (SW) and Process Design and Management (PDM) pillars, while ensuring seamless integration with the other pillars to maintain a cohesive and efficient operating system.

Purpose


We are seeking a Lean Coordinator who will support the deployment of APM Terminals WoW, assist the functions/department to leverage the APM Terminals WoW maturity.
The candidate will primarily focus on the Standard Work (SW) and Process Design and Management (PDM) pillars, while ensuring seamless integration with the other pillars to maintain a cohesive and efficient operating system.


Key Responsibilities


  • Drive and support the sustainment and improvement of Standard Work practices across the organization by:
    • ​Ensuring Daily Management Visual Management compliance on our functional meetings,
    • Establishing SW meetings as the forum and enabler for other Operating System pillars.
  • Manage the Process Design and Management (PDM) pillar by:
    • Ensuring terminal compliance with the global APM Terminals processes landscape,
    • Supporting and advising on standardization efforts within the terminal,
    • Guaranteeing quality and compliance with global standards.
  • Conduct regular assessments to evaluate and improve the overall Operating System maturity.
  • Provide training and coach team members on operating system.
  • Support the training and coaching on Lean principles and tools to team members at all levels.
  • Participate in facilitating continuous improvement projects.

Who we are looking for


  • An engineering degree (Industrial, Mechanical, Process Engineering or related field).
  • 0 to 3 years of Experience via projects and improvement initiatives in industrial/ process environment.
  • Lean Six Sigma certification/Green Belt or Black Belt are a plus,
  • Additional certifications in project management or quality management are a plus.
  • Strong understanding of Lean principles and methodologies (e.g., VMS, Kaizen Basics, Problem Solving, VSM, SMED, 5S, Standardization, six Sigma ...),
  • Proficiency in process mapping,
  • Experience with process management software and tools,
  • Familiarity with quality management systems and global compliance standards,
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, and data analysis tools.
  • Strong influencing skills,
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) in English
