To complement our growth plans and drive our sustainable success with customer, New Equipment Sales is considered to be a strategic priority for our Business.

Reporting to the Head of Sales in Kuwait, we are looking for a dynamic and experienced Key Account Manager to be based in our Kuwait office. In this role, you will lead and develop mutually beneficial relationships between KONE and customers which are of strategic importance. You will proactively identify business opportunities, develop processes that add value to our customers, and propose outside-of-the-box initiatives to complement our traditional growth plans.

Key Responsibilities: Creating and managing opportunities in his/her customer base with the strategic account teams. Creating value propositions with clearly described benefits of KONE solutions for customers' needs. Developing the profitability of the customers’ business with KONE according to the agreed account plan. Responsible for evaluating any commercial or operational risks and resolving customer complaints with the support of all stakeholders.

A service mindset is an outlook that focuses on creating customer trust, value, and loyalty and hence we are looking for somebody with a proven track record of being customer-centric, a go-getter, and understanding how to partner and collaborate with the business. We need someone who has the ability to lead and influence and has strong commercial acumen skills.

Are you the one?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from a university accredited by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA).
  • If based in Kuwait, membership with the Kuwait Society of Engineers (KSE) and the Kuwait Fire Department (KFD) is required.
  • At least 5 years of experience in one of the following areas: Complex Sales Process Management, Business Development, or Key Account Management.
  • Preferably experienced in the Elevator & Escalator industry and familiar with the Kuwait market.
  • Strong English communication skills; Arabic proficiency is an advantage.
  • Highly motivated, goal-oriented, organized, and diligent self-starter with a strong focus on customer service.
  • Capable of leading and representing the organization at a senior level with various stakeholders.
  • Skilled in interpreting and analyzing customer needs.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with excellent organizational and leadership abilities.
  • Passionate about sales, with a proven track record and a strong customer focus.
  • Excellent presentation and negotiation skills.
