You’ll Do/Oversee:

• Establish and maintain good working relationships with customer management teams.
• Plan and co-ordinate multi-discipline engineering design assignments within and across disciplines to agreed time and cost limits.
• Develop solutions to engineering problems which meet or exceed customer requirements.
• Manage the delivery of all design deliverables in accordance with project HSE and quality requirements, negotiating revisions to cost and schedule where necessary.
• Manage the workshare process.
• Ensure proper implementation and application of the workshare methodology.
• Promote operational level teamwork in support of successful workshare.
• Ensure all design engineering activities meet or exceed engineering standards with regard to quality, cost, safety, and performance.
• Review discipline professional services estimates and consolidate into an overall engineering estimate.
• Plan, manage and coordinate engineering resources & efforts.
• Ensure the Technical Integrity of design output.
• Hold and coordinate weekly Management of Change OC approval meetings with disciplines.
• Review discipline professional services estimates and consolidate into an overall engineering estimate.
• Ensure the Technical Integrity of design output.
• Ensure all design engineering activities meet or exceed engineering standards with regard to quality, cost, safety, and performance.
• Plan and manage engineering and design systems implementation, technical specifications, standard drawings standard setup of models, etc. and data management systems.

You’ll Have:

• Experience with large mega EPC / EPCM projects.
• BSc or higher in Engineering and extensive years’ experience in coordinating engineering teams on large EPC/EPCM projects in a professional setting.
• Extensive experience working on Water Treatment Plants or large pipeline project.
• Recent experience working on onshore projects.
• Experience in taking projects from FEED through to completion of the construction phase of projects.
• Managed senior level multi-disciplinary engineers and enhancing their development.
• Previously working in a fast-paced tight deadlines while ensuring a high quality delivery.
• Team leadership capability, communication skills, excellent technical skills and commercial awareness.
• Excellent analytical, interpersonal and communication skills essential.
• Ability to prepare functional estimates and provide other technical input to tenders as required, to meet requirements on scope and timeline and to ensure that contractual issues and technical risk are understood and addressed.
• Ability to lead and motivate engineering team to provide both timely and cost-effective solutions.
• A working knowledge of 3D Modelling is required.
