About this opportunity



As the HR Advisor for Africa you will be based in our Morocco office, in Casablanca. You will be part of the Africa commercial leadership team.
This is a local role in which you provide HR support to employees based in the Morocco, Ghana, South Africa, Egypt, Nigeria. At the same time you will be part of an international HRBP team (based across our EMEA offices) and collaborate closely the wider EMEA HR team (Total rewards, HR operations and Talent Acquisition).

In this role, you will…



Be a trusted advisor: facilitate open communication with employees Undertake full range of general HR activities working in partnership with regional management and other business stakeholders Coach managers to focus on the ‘How’ as much as on the ‘What’; Make leaders accountable for their engagement and attrition scores​ Be prepared to challenge. Have tough conversations needed to build awareness and shift the thoughts and actions of leaders who need to improve their approach with regards to workload, prioritization, empathy​ Ensure legal compliance with regulations like fair employment, gender pay gap, workplace safety etc. Promptly handles speak up cases pertaining to Global Code of Conduct and/or compliance​ Be able to read data and influence decisions (diversity/attrition/span of control etc.) Be responsible to maintain the accuracy of HR data for employees, and provide suitable metrics and analytics to the business. Support regional business leaders in meaningful succession planning activities for their area. Support the Business Leaders to develop Employee Engagement action plans, providing advice, guidance, and ideas as required Update and develop effective and suitable local relevant HR policies and procedures to implement throughout the region. Provide advice and interpret such policies as appropriate. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the business, HR trends and employment legislation and pro-actively use knowledge to provide excellent customer focused, value add, service provision Develop and maintain written resources such as Handbooks, Guides, Newsletters, Policy Documentation, etc. Regularly assess area of responsibility and use initiative, creativity and knowledge to encourage change to drive business performance through effective HR activities Regular liaise with HRBP in other markets and the wider HR team to share ideas, best practice and ensure team is working towards common HR and business goals Work in conjunction with management teams to promote the culture and values of the organization to all employees through inclusivity, diversity and empowerment and the values of adaptability, trust, excellence, accountability and mutual respect Responsible for the on-site country HR Administration from hire to exit in close collaboration with EMEA HR Operations team Responsible for the onboarding of the employees, including ensuring that all documentation is timely available for compliance, payroll and visa application in close collaboration with EMEA HR Operations team.

In this role, you’ll need …



Bachelor/master’s degree 5-7 years of HR experience, including 3+ years of HRBP experience, preferably in a global environment Professional working level in English and Arabic French is a plus Excellent knowledge in Labor Laws of Morocco, preferably also an understanding of labor law in Ghana, South Africa.
