The HSE Manager will develop and implement the strategic HSE plan and provide day-to-day activities for their assigned BU's, business lines, or projects under their responsibility. The HSE Manager will support the implementation of the JESA HSE program & HSE Road Map by developing effective partnerships, communicating, facilitating, and aligning HSE improvements either directly and/or through others.
You'll do:
- Establish HSE strategic plans and programs; assess and measure HSE performance; research and facilitate data-based change;
- Reinforce & actively support the JESA HSE Program with a continuous improvement mindset; Focus on best practices and develop transversal initiatives in line with the JESA core HSE system.
- Support the HSE Director to develop and review the HSE road map with new action plan status (following Y-1 performance analysis)
- Assure that the core JESA system (SPA, SOR, investigations, SER, reviews and follow-up) are implemented.
- Reports to the JESA HSE Director & Head of BU the overall HSE Performance, KPI's and action plan for all the JESA LOB and Stakeholders.
- Builds and fosters a system for his assigned BU's or project where skills and competency development are continuously improved, and performances rewarded
- Coach & support HSE Team, Consistently shares knowledge with others
- Act as the JESA single point of contact for all HSE Matters for the Stakeholders and Ecosystem for their assigned BU's or project.
Main Activity:
- Deliver HSE Road-Map status for their assigned BU in line with the global strategic growth plan.
- Provide an annual Global HSE Performance review by the agreed date.
- Conduct, in consultation with the Project Manager/Head of BU, at least 1 SER each year.
- Hold a Quarterly High-Level HSE Meeting with the head of BU & Program Leadership members.
- Set up and implement a minimum of one HSE initiative per year involving all JESA employees.
You'll have/bring:
- Several years experience managing HSE Supervisors.
- Excellent people management skills.
- A degree or relevant qualifications (NEBOSH, IOSH, QHSE) in HSE to support professional experience.
- Several years experience in HSE Leadership within a professional environment.
- MUST have recent experience in oil & gas or energy or mining industries
