Working as part of a cross functional team, you deliver the RDQ activities required to complete new product development, portfolio maintenance and/or productivity projects with an emphasis on meeting the desired consumer experience.

How you will contribute



With the support and guidance of a manager, you will organize and execute projects in line with RDQ, marketing and manufacturing requirements, effectively communicating status and risks. You will plan and conduct pilot plant and factory trials in accordance with good manufacturing practice and HACCP requirements and development activities (e.g. product shelf-life testing, designing for quality, consumer test preparation etc.). You will also write technical reports that will require the analysis and interpretation of results and that lead to conclusions and recommendations and create and maintain accurate consumer-led specifications.

Job Scope:



Being accountable for product development for Vietnam within AMEA region. Product development may cover NPD (New Product Development) program, productivity, quality improvement and technical support.
Running pilot plant and/or laboratory operations, preparing and maintaining the equipment and ingredients needed, capturing and reporting data with technical rigor and accuracy, and ensuring the safe working and operation of equipment and environment.
Taking care of lab management: maintain 5S in R&D lab, support in ordering raw materials for lab trial and be responsible for administration in R&D department

Main Responsibility:



Working in teams and independently with the guidance of more senior team members
Proactively identifying problems and assisting in creating and implementing solutions
Applying your technical understanding of equipment and ingredients to support pilot plant and/or laboratory operations
Recording and reporting data and activity outcomes accurately

Requirements:



Bachelor’s degree in Food Technology for relevant majors
Experience in food science, science, or engineering in a fast-moving consumer goods company, or in food manufacturing, bakery in cakes and buns is plus
Good ability to work in a team or independently with the guidance of a manager
Lab/plant equipment operation/maintenance experience is an advantage
Ability to apply fundamental technical understanding to interpret and analyze data to reach clear conclusions
Communicating effectively verbally and in writing, including technical writing
