Position Summary: The Regional Business Manager (RBM) will be responsible for developing and maintaining business relationships in the Maghreb region to meet commercial objectives. This role involves implementing strategic and tactical plans to drive sales, increase market share, and ensure distributor performance. The RBM will spend 75% of their time with customers, focusing on hands-on engagement and management activities.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategies to meet commercial and HBDC objectives in Maghreb.
- Achieve sales targets and monitor the success of commercial promotion campaigns.
- Provide regular and accurate reporting on sales performance and forecasting.
- Implement effective performance objectives, programs, and policies for distributors.
- Embrace and champion Danaher and Cepheid core values to achieve growth objectives.
- Lead a metrics-driven, continuous improvement culture and ensure distributor accountability.
- Enhance customer satisfaction and advocate for customer interests.
- Build strong brand awareness and preference for Cepheid products.
- Track competitive market share and understand competitive selling strategies.
- Represent Cepheid in customer negotiations, trade shows, seminars, and conferences.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of experience OR Master’s degree with 3+ years of experience.
- Experience in a high-technology product/service sector, with a strong advantage in medical device, healthcare, or diagnostics fields.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively across sales, service, technical support, marketing, and business management functions.
- Extensive experience in developing sales and commercial marketing strategies.
- Record of substantial over-achievement of goals and demonstrated strong strategic and analytical skills.
- Highly developed communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a global setup.
- Professional behavior and appearance.
- French native speaker and fluent in English.
- Willingness to travel 50-75%.
