Business Development Manager (Inbound Tourism - B2B)

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated Business Development Manager to spearhead the growth of our inbound tourism B2B client base. Your primary responsibility will be to identify, prospect, and secure new partnerships with tour operators and travel agencies in key international markets.

As the driving force behind client acquisition, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our business. We are seeking a results-oriented professional who is passionate about tourism and excels in building and nurturing long-term client relationships.


Key Responsibilities:


Client Acquisition:

  • Identify, prospect, and secure new B2B clients (tour operators, travel agencies) in target markets.
  • Develop tailored approaches for each market, understanding the unique needs and trends of each region.
  • Conduct regular market research and networking to identify new opportunities.

Relationship Building:

  • Establish strong, long-lasting relationships with prospective and existing partners.
  • Nurture new clients during their onboarding process, ensuring they experience high-quality service from the start.

Negotiation & Sales:

  • Negotiate and close deals, securing contracts that align with the company’s profitability goals.
  • Present the company’s offerings to potential clients and effectively communicate our value proposition.

Market Development:

  • Assist in developing customized travel packages in collaboration with internal teams that appeal to the specific needs of each market.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, client demands, and competitors in the regions you target.

Performance Tracking:

  • Track your sales performance and client acquisition efforts, providing regular reports to management.
  • Set and achieve client acquisition and revenue goals, with the potential for salary reviews and bonuses based on results.


Skills & Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Tourism, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in business development, sales, or client relationship management (preferably in the travel and tourism industry).
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to present complex information in a compelling manner.
  • Fluent in English and Spanish (additional languages such as French are a plus).
  • Ability to work independently, self-motivate, and meet targets.
  • Familiarity with international travel trends and B2B partnerships.


Compensation Package:
  • Base Salary: 5,000 - 6,000 MAD per month (depending on experience and qualifications).
  • Commission: 10% commission for the first contract or series of tours with each new client (based on on the margin)
  • Ongoing Commission: 5% commission on the margin for repeat business from the same client for the first year.
  • Performance Bonus per quarter if client acquisition targets are met.
  • Salary Review: After 6 months of successful performance, the base salary may increase to 7,000 MAD to 9,000 MAD.
