At Thermo Fisher Scientific, we offer a unique opportunity for an individual with exceptional work behaviors to join our team as a Sales Account Manager (f/m/d) - Bulk Elemental Analysis. This role is based in Tunisia and focuses on the North Africa region. As a Sales Account Manager, you will have the chance to work with world-class products and make a significant impact in the field of material characterization.


Primary responsibilities include the following:
  • Take ownership of all sales and account management responsibilities for our Bulk Elemental Analysis products, ensuring flawless execution and resolving any issues.
  • Develop and implement a strategic sales strategy for the industrial and Materials Science markets.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of each customer's financial constraints and take strategic steps to optimize sales possibilities.
  • Collaborate closely with the application team and product marketing managers to organize system demonstrations for potential customers.
  • Drive the sales booking process and ensure accurate forecasting.
  • Coordinate with the Service Group and Application Engineers to address any product issues in the field and provide effective solutions.
  • Work closely with the Service Team to ensure excellent customer satisfaction.
  • Support local partners in other French-speaking Africa countries
  • Maintain accurate customer and project data in the CRM system.

To thrive in this position, it is beneficial to hold a Bachelor or Master's degree in Material Sciences, Engineering, Chemistry, Physics, or a related technical/science field. Equivalent experience will also be considered. Additionally, a successful track record in sales management, particularly within Analytical Instrumentation, like Spectroscopy, is desired. Effective communication and presentation abilities are vital for effectively engaging with diverse audiences and achieving sales objectives. Ability to travel (30-40%) to customer sites and our demo facilities in Switzerland. Fluent in Arabic, French and English.
