The role

You need to have strong expertise in both on-prem and cloud monitoring solutions. On the role you will be involved in managing hybrid environments, customizing monitoring systems, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the efficient operation of critical infrastructure. You will report to our Regional Leader.

You will:

• Administer and optimize SCOM environments, creating custom monitoring rules and dashboards.
• Integrate SCOM with Azure Monitor and Log Analytics for seamless hybrid monitoring.
• Design and implement custom monitoring solutions using PowerShell.
• Deliver workshops and training sessions to internal teams on monitoring tools and best practices.
• Troubleshoot performance issues across both on-prem and cloud environments, reducing alert noise to focus on actionable incidents.
• Create detailed reports and dashboards for internal and external stakeholders

You need to have is:

• Strong experience with SCOM administration and optimization.
• Proficiency with Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and PowerShell scripting.
• Experience monitoring hybrid environments combining on-prem and Azure resources.
• Experience monitoring hybrid environments that combine on-prem and Azure cloud resources
• Ability to create a unified monitoring solution for on-prem and cloud
• Familiarity with Azure Monitor and Log Analytics to integrate with on-prem SCOM environments
• Troubleshoot hybrid environments (on-prem + cloud)
• Experience with Application Insights for monitoring application
