Regional Sales Manager - North Africa

G+D Mobile Security, the global leader in secure telecommunications systems, is seeking a Regional Sales Manager for North Africa, based in Morocco.



Scope and Purpose:

  • Sales of Mobile Security Hardware Products (e.g. SIM, Packaging) and other services in North Africa Region in coordination with Head of Sales MENA and in compliance with regional sales strategy
  • Sales of Mobile Security Digital Offerings (e.g. ESIM, Entitlement Service, M2M, OTA, Device Management, QoS, Roaming, Connectivity) services either hosted or onsite deployments
  • Sales of Mobile Security IoT Solutions in different verticals such as Transit and Logistics
  • Selling in industries such as Tier 1,2,3 Mobile Operators and MVNO's
  • Establish and maintain strong and firm relationship with customers and sales agents
  • Establish C-Level and decision maker relationships with customers
  • Develop new business opportunities, identifying partners, and creative selling. Introduce and explain our product portfolio.
  • Attend to the customer during the complete business cycle and follow up project milestones in close cooperation with Sales Administration
  • Monitor competitive activities, identify customer future needs; build up a strong link to the Product Marketing / Management
  • Grow share of wallet for products and services in the North Africa region



Key Result Areas / Responsibilities:

  • Achieve minimum 100% fulfilment of assigned sales targets (e.g. Revenue, Gross margin and EBIT target) as well as company objectives for the allocated sales region
  • Liaise and negotiate with c-level and decision makers
  • Close deals and sign sales and maintain contracts with direct customers and agents
  • Identify sales partners in region and maintain relationships
  • Update CRM systems “Customer Relationship Management” (external- & internal customers), Calendar, Pipeline, Order & Management data
  • Report and forecast sales activities with Sales Force
  • Monitor and report competitor activities
  • (describe their solutions, products, services, partners. Identify their alignment, strengths and weaknesses. Determine their most likely strategy)
  • Mapping of accounts
  • (Customer business profile, Competitors, Organization map, Relationship strategy, Our strengths & weaknesses, Decision criteria, Milestones in buying process, Critical success factors, Actions “prove your value”)
  • Involves in project cost calculation and project / company risk management
  • (Machines, hardware, network and related equipment, Software costs, Production people, Marketing and sales costs, Maintenance, Service centre and administration)
  • Opportunity assessment
  • (Is there an opportunity?, Can we compete?, Can we win?, Is it worth winning?
  • Your solution - “does it meet customer compelling event”, Unique business value - “value proposition, defines a measurable business result”, Competitors - “describe their solution”, Goal - “long term position”, Sales objective - “describe your product & services, project close date and total order amount”, Competitive strategy - “compare your position to the competitors and determine strategy”)
  • Participate constructively in preparation of strategy plan and budget following year.
  • Travel extensively within sales area to build up and maintain customer relationship
  • Attend as exhibitor, at various marketing events for Mobile Security



Job Requirements:

  • Advanced technical or business related degree
  • (Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Engineering, Master of Business Administration “MBA”)
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in technical sales in the North Africa Region
  • Experience with direct and indirect sales, ideally with Mobile Operators and MVNO's
  • To be au fait with high level decision makers
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Adequate knowledge with project management
  • Adequate knowledge with regards to Financial Controlling aspects of Projects
  • Know-how of efficient project management methods.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English, Arabic and French is mandatory
  • Candidate must be willing to travel within in the North Africa Region
  • Should demonstrate Positive attitude, Hard working, Always respect and keep deadlines, Focus on team goals, Can do attitude, Readiness to fight, be successful, Drive the business until invoice / payment received.
