Under the direction of the HR Director, this position is responsible for leading HR practices and objectives that will provide an employee-oriented and high performance culture that will maximize the strategic use of Human Resources policies, programs and regulatory compliance. Ensures the achievement of service levels with regards to HR service delivery through active coordination with various Operations and Support functions. Ensures that all program / account processes and procedures are adhered to and that individual / global metrics are consistently improving for the account
- Conducts learning sessions to all Human Resources team members, Practice head and leaders to ensure knowledge and compliance of the implementing guidelines of the company policies and to adequately address labor-related HR issues in both corrective and preventive manner.
- Develops, recommends and promotes Human Resources policies, practices and programs in a generalist approach and providing guidance on the interpretation of policies as they relate to Team Members and company objectives.
- Provides technical expertise and assistance in handling team member grievances and cases by conducting in-house investigations in order to recommend appropriate action.
- Conducts career counseling sessions with employees as requested. Provides employees with a broader perspective of employment possibilities within the company, and equip them with the guidance and knowledge to map-out the career path they desire within the organization.
- Drives the design and/or implementation of interventions that address Pulsecheck concerns thereby increasing the level of engagement and morale of the client groups.
- Conducts and/or facilitates supervisory and employee training on a wide range of human resources related topics including Respectful Workplace, ethics training, and HR for Non HR.
- Acts as the primary contact of AGMs, maintains cordial working relations with them including compliance to ethics, respectful workplace, corporate security and privacy policies.
Required skills + qualities:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, Human Resources and Development, or any related field.
- Yellow Belt Six Sigma Certified.
- 5-7 years HR experience or at least three (3) HR years in a supervisory/managerial capacity
- Proficient knowledge and subject matter expertise in all Human Resources processes such as talent acquisition and management, leadership development and executive coaching, organization design, workforce planning, performance management, team development, culture management, employee relations, discipline and discharge, compensation and benefits, learning management, legal compliance.
- Have skills in the following: Project Management, Presentation and Facilitation Skills, Effective Meeting Management, Change Management and Behavioral Interviewing Skills. Well versed with legal requirements for handling employee cases.
