Specific responsi​bilities:

• Scope

• One WPM on the project (solution) - Responsible for the whole solution technical execution.
•  Can be supported by system PDA, SwEMs, SEs and IVVQM (if needed)

• Reporting

• PM – Project Manager
• WPM is focused on the technical management (HOW).
• Supports BID and Project teams to understand the context and customer needs

• Defines scope and prevent scope creeps:

• Organizes the requirements allocation then approves lower level solution elements’ or components’ engineering plans including those flown down to subcontractors and partners.

• Guarantees the commitments of the project including:

• Satisfaction of the stakeholders requirements
• Constraints provided by the PDA
• Constraints provided by (DA) Design Authority.

• Optimizes technical work :

• By organizing system engineering reviews
• Participating to those of lower level solution elements from design to validation and acceptance.

• Together with PDA

• Challenges The PDA design if needed to include project schedule and technical constraints.
• Approves the main bid/project engineering reviews and deliverables.
• Organizes technical meetings and peer reviews in order to perform technical assessment and validation.
• Monitor and control technical risk and associated actions.

• Communication skills

• Customer facing – clarifying requirements and keep the solution  scope
• Internal team –project engineering  team , project manager and QAM

• Technical skills

• Strong knowledge of products, security, standards requirements
• Strong knowledge of the project requirements and scope

• Management skills

• Lead and manage the system engineers (requirements engineers )
• Managing technical risks – identify, monitor, define mitigation actions
• Manage the technical project execution and ensure the inerrability.

Qualifications:

• Education:

Engineering or master’s degree in information technology or computer Science

• Experience Level:

Minimum 5 years’ experience in computer science

Experience in customer project activity (Professional Services)
