Responsibilities and Duties
- Maintain and develop the existing relationships with the water management and industry sector customers to achieve the sales targets.
- Identify and recruit new channel partners to expand the company’s market reach.
- Create new sales opportunities with local water authorities and municipalities through continuous follow up and support.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer demands to identify opportunities and threats.
- Provide insights and recommendations for product development and market positioning.
- Full understanding of Wilo products capabilities, value proposition and technology to be able to clearly communicate that to the customers, end users and consultants and support them on the design stage including spec-in activities.
- Provide technical support and consultation to customers, including product selection, troubleshooting, and project guided specifications.
- Guide Wilo application engineers to select the right pumps as per the project specifications.
- Manage and oversee sales projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Coordinate with internal teams (engineering, production, logistics) to ensure seamless project execution.
- Prepare and deliver project proposals, quotations, and contracts.
- Coordinate with the after sales and service team in Wilo and support them to maintain the customers satisfaction and create service and after sales opportunities.
- Utilize all company tools (CRM, construction intelligence provider, demand plan, etc.), and maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, customer interactions, and project statuses.
- Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for management review.
Qualifications and Skills:
- B.Sc. In Mechanical engineering from accredited university.
- Fluency in English is a strong plus.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of sales experience in the pump industry with In-depth technical knowledge in centrifugal pumps (Pump curve interpretation, pump and driver selections, pump startup, etc.) and pumping systems
- Proven track record of sales covering water management Utility and Infrastructure projects and industrial applications mainly covering:
- Potable water pumping stations
- Wastewater pumping stations
- Storm water pumping stations
- Irrigation pumping stations
- Wastewater treatment and purification plants
- General Industry products, O&G and related applications
- Strong network of contacts with the main water management and industry sectors, end users and consultants in Morocco covering applications such as water distribution and boosting, raw water intake, dewatering and flood control, wastewater treatment, wastewater collection and transport, irrigation and agriculture.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical information clearly and persuasively.
- Self-motivated and ability to work independently
- Willingness to travel frequently to meet with customers and attend industry events.
