Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and innovative Process Engineer to define, implement, and optimize the dismantling center’s processes and tools. This role is pivotal in ensuring the facility is operational and fully ready for its planned launch in September 2025. The ideal candidate will combine technical expertise, project management skills, and a proactive mindset to support the successful establishment of this greenfield project.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Process Definition: Develop and document detailed dismantling processes, ensuring efficiency, safety, and compliance with industry standards.
- Tooling and Equipment: Define technical specifications for tools and equipment, collaborate with vendors, and oversee the procurement process.
- Installation and Setup:
- Supervise the delivery, installation, and commissioning of equipment.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless implementation.
- Testing and Validation: Conduct try-outs and pilot runs to verify process effectiveness, make adjustments, and optimize performance.
- Launch Readiness: Ensure all processes and tools are fully operational, validated, and ready for the facility's launch.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance process efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and quality during and after the launch phase.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the Plant Manager and cross-functional teams to align on project goals and timelines.
EDUCATION
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical or industrial engineering, or a related field.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
- Proven experience in process engineering or industrial setup, preferably in the automotive or recycling sectors.
- Hands-on experience with process design, tooling, and equipment commissioning.
- Track record of successfully delivering technical projects on time and within scope.
KEY COMPETENCES
Project management/ Process simulation/ CAD Software/ Purchasing
LANGUAGES
Fluent in French. English is an asset.
