This facility will process 12,000 vehicles per year, generating over €30M in revenue and employing a team of 130 talented professionals. Job Overview :

We are seeking a visionary and results-driven Plant Manager to lead the development, launch, and operational management of our dismantling center. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a greenfield project from the ground up and play a critical role in the success of a transformative business unit.


RESPONSIBILITIES

Phase 1: Pre-Launch (2025)

  • Facility Development: Identify and secure the right location for the center; negotiate lease agreements and prepare the building for operations.
  • Workforce Recruitment and Training: Build a dynamic team of 130 professionals by recruiting and training staff to ensure readiness for launch.
  • Process Design: Define and implement efficient dismantling processes to meet quality and safety standards.
  • Purchasing and Tooling: Collaborate with the procurement team to manage equipment and tools acquisition, ensuring timely delivery and installation.
  • Project Management: Oversee the project timeline, budget, and quality requirements to achieve a successful launch by September 2025.

Phase 2: Post-Launch Operations

  • Operational Leadership: Manage daily activities of the dismantling center, ensuring productivity, cost efficiency, and quality targets are met.
  • Team Management: Lead, motivate, and develop a workforce of 130 individuals, fostering a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
  • Performance Optimization: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions.
  • Compliance : Ensure adherence to environmental, safety, and industry regulations.


EDUCATION

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related field.


PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

  • Proven experience in managing or launching industrial facilities, ideally in the automotive or recycling sector.
  • Strong project management expertise with a track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
