Job Description
We are seeking a full-time
Maintenance & Facilities Manager with Greenfield project experience to lead maintenance operations at our new HVAC plant in Tangiers, Morocco. You will oversee all maintenance functions, ensuring equipment reliability, asset optimization, and adherence to budget and KPIs (MTBF, MTTR, DT). Responsibilities include implementing preventive and corrective maintenance programs, conducting root cause analysis, and improving operational uptime. You will ensure efficient, cost-effective maintenance while meeting customer expectations and internal standards for safety and performance.
Essential responsibilities (including but not limited to):
- Contribute to the creation, development and implementation of maintenance vision, strategy, policies, processes and procedures to improve operational and financial performance of the plant
- Responsible for department budgeting, including all Maintenance and repair cost centers, building, spare parts, outsourced services and departmental labor
- Adhere to daily/weekly/monthly checks to ensure smooth operations of the plant, while implementing different levels of maintenance
- Develop a Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) schedule, ensure full preventive maintenance is carried out, plan in missed maintenance activities, and lead the team to deliver effectively
- Optimize equipment according to standard procedure, enhancing performance and product quality, ensuring the achievement of all Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Manage the process of the introduction of new machinery and equipment from drawing up the specification, dealing with suppliers and all relevant parties for their full installation
- Ensure buildings, plant and facilities are fit for purpose and provide proactive support/solutions when required
- Ensure all equipment, building and facilities are maintained and operational up to company standards
- Ensure zero operational disruption and maximum customer satisfaction.
- Prepare the annual maintenance budget (OPEX) and Maintenance Capital Expenditure (CAPEX) proposals as well as ensuring compliance with customer and legal standards. Manage the Maintenance budget from identification to completion of projects and activities
- Record and Reduce energy consumption. Contribute to energy-saving initiatives through the implementation of good operational practices, selecting appropriate equipment and ensuring proper maintenance
Qualifications
Required experience and education:
At least 5 years' proven experience in Maintenance and Facilities management within the automotive industry First experience in Greenfield automotive plant maintenance management, especially the supervision of technical installations 5 years' higher education (BAC+5) with a Master or Engineering degree in Electro-mechanical, Industrial Engineering or equivalent

Demonstrated ability to manage plant maintenance operations at a high level, with a strong track record in leadership and team management Expertise in electrical, mechanical, and electronic systems, with strong technical aptitude and comprehensive problem-solving skills for complex equipment and systems In-depth knowledge and proficiency in maintenance management systems, particularly within the automotive industry. Proficiency in implementing energy-efficient practices and developing effective maintenance strategies Ability in overseeing and optimizing maintenance budgets for cost-effective operations Proven experience with IATF 16949 certification, ensuring compliance with automotive standards and integrating quality management into maintenance operations and improvement initiatives. Proficiency in spoken and written English, enabling clear expression of complex ideas, concepts, thoughts and information Ability to adapt quickly to a constantly changing environment
Your Nice-to-Haves:
Skills in Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) Understanding of Lean manufacturing tools and methods Knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, preferably SAP Excellent leadership skills in support of a culture of innovation aligned with our strategic objectives
