Scope






The Sales Intern will assist the Sales team in identifying new business opportunities and supporting the development of existing accounts. The role involves assisting with research on potential prospects, helping to maintain customer databases, and supporting sales efforts through administrative tasks and coordination. The intern will gain valuable exposure to the sales process, from prospecting and lead generation to customer relationship management, while working closely with the Sales team to support their daily activities





Responsibilities:



  • Assist in identifying new business opportunities by conducting research on potential customers, as guided by local sales KPIs.

    Help develop and maintain a prospect listing for future new business opportunities, supporting the planning of sales efforts.

    Assist in updating and maintaining customer and prospect information in the CRM system (C-view).

    Support in generating and distributing specific reports as required by the Line Manager.

    Assist with cross-selling activities by coordinating with internal teams and following up on sales opportunities.

    Collaborate closely with the Customer Service, Operations, and Contract Logistics teams to ensure smooth communication and sales processes.

    Focus on supporting the team in building profitable, long-term customer relationships.

    Represent the company’s products and services to clients under the guidance of senior sales staff.

    Support in preparing materials for sales presentations and assist in delivering them when appropriate.








Qualifications/Experience






Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Transportation, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

No prior industry experience required, but any exposure to sales, logistics, or customer service through internships, coursework, or projects is a plus.

Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a willingness to learn and engage with customers and colleagues.

Ability to analyze basic sales data and situations, with a focus on supporting the team’s decision-making.

Flexible and able to adapt quickly to changing environments and new tasks.

Professional attitude and capable of working effectively under pressure to meet deadlines.

Charismatic and confident personality with a strong work ethic and enthusiasm for sales.
