Key Responsibilities:
Market & Business Development
- Identify, develop, and manage new business opportunities across Morocco
- Conduct in-depth market research to analyze trends, competitor activities, and potential customers.
- Develop and execute regional business strategies to achieve sales and profitability targets.
Customer & Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with end-users, distributors, and partners across key industry segments.
- Understand customer requirements and propose suitable chemical raw material solutions.
- Manage key accounts, ensuring excellent service and long-term business partnerships.
Sales & Commercial Activities
- Drive sales of industrial chemicals and solvents across B2B markets.
- Prepare and negotiate commercial offers, contracts, and tenders in line with company objectives.
- Monitor sales pipelines, forecast demand, and ensure consistent revenue growth.
Technical & Product Expertise
- Apply technical knowledge of petrochemical raw materials and their end-user applications.
- Provide product recommendations and application support to customers in industries such as coatings, inks, packaging, lubricants, detergents, and cosmetics.
- Collaborate with technical and supply chain teams to ensure product suitability and compliance.
Operations, Logistics & Compliance
- Coordinate shipments, logistics, and documentation in line with international trade regulations.
- Ensure compliance with local laws, customs procedures, and environmental standards in Morocco
- Prepare periodic reports on market trends, competitor activities, and business performance.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Chemistry, or related field.
- MBA in Marketing or Master’s in International Business preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 5–10 years in sales, marketing, or business development of chemical raw materials or solvents.
- Proven track record in developing and managing industrial B2B markets across North Africa or similar regions.
- Strong technical understanding of chemical applications in:
- Paints, Coatings, and Inks
- Flexible Packaging
- Resins and Adhesives
- Detergents and Soaps
- Cosmetics and Perfumes
- Oilfield Chemicals
- Agrochemicals and Lubricants
Key Competencies:
- Strong business acumen with excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- In-depth knowledge of petrochemical trading, supply chain operations, and market dynamics.
- Ability to work independently and manage regional operations remotely.
- Customer-focused, results-oriented, and self-motivated professional.
- Proficiency in English and French preferred; Arabic is an advantage.
- Valid driving license and willingness to travel extensively across the region.
