Responsibilities:





  • Define and manage the end-to-end observability strategy, aligned with business and reliability goals.

  • Design and evolve the observability architecture and platform for network, microservices, Kubernetes, multi-cloud, and on-prem environments, with HA/DR and security guarantees.

  • Standardize instrumentation through market standards, cross-signal correlation (logs in context, trace propagation, etc.), naming conventions, and global taxonomy.

  • Govern alerting and visualization, provide tools for diagnostics to reduce MTTD/MTTR.

  • Ensure compliance and confidentiality of telemetry data (PII masking, encryption, RBAC, audit) and controlled integrations.

  • Manage the FinOps of observability through retention/sampling policies and volume/cardinality safeguards.

  • Support and train teams (coaching, documentation, community of practice), measure adoption and value via OKRs/KPIs, and drive continuous improvement.




Required profile :

  • Degree in computer science, systems engineering, or equivalent field.

  • Confirmed experience of 8 years or more in an architect or expert role in observability, monitoring, or SRE.

  • Strong command of distributed environments (Kubernetes, OpenShift, etc.) and data security and compliance concepts (encryption, multi-tenancy, PII masking, etc.).

  • Good understanding of integration principles, separation of roles, and FinOps applied to observability.

  • Cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, GCP) or monitoring/observability certifications (Datadog, Prometheus, OpenTelemetry, Grafana, etc.) are a plus.

  • Analytical mindset, technical rigor, and ability to design high-performing and sustainable solutions.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.


Required skills:





  • Strong command of distributed environments (K8s, OpenShift, etc.).

  • Strong command of key concepts in data compliance and security (encryption, multi-tenancy, scalability, availability, classification, PII masking, etc.).

  • Strong command of integration and separation of roles/responsibilities concepts.

  • Knowledge in FinOps for observability (sampling, retention, safeguards related to volume/cardinality).
