Job Overview

The Electrical Supervisor is an experienced, rigorous, and results-oriented professional with at least 5 years of experience supervising electrical teams in an industrial environment, ideally in water treatment or desalination plants.
They possess solid expertise in high/low voltage electrical systems, panels, motors, transformers, and industrial equipment, as well as proficiency in preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance.
Safety and performance-oriented, they know how to lead, motivate, and coach a team, manage subcontractors, and prioritize interventions to ensure operational continuity. They are proficient in HSE monitoring, technical documentation, operations planning, and KPI management, and communicate clearly with all teams. French and Arabic are mastered, with technical English appreciated.

Main Responsibilities

• 
  Safety & HSE: Ensure the safety of people and equipment, supervise PTWs, conduct risk analyses, and contribute to audits and inspections.


• 
  Leadership & Management: Lead and motivate technicians and subcontractors, plan and coordinate preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance, participate in skills development and recruitment.


• 
  Electrical Maintenance: Diagnose and troubleshoot faults, perform inspections and interventions on motors, transformers, high/low voltage panels, and wiring, participate in scheduled shutdowns.


• 
  Documentation & Technical Monitoring: Update diagrams, P&IDs, procedures, intervention sheets, and technical manuals, monitor KPIs, and propose continuous improvements.


• 
  Budget & Contracts: Contribute to budget planning and monitoring, supervise subcontractor performance, and optimize spare parts inventory.


• 
  Operations & Commissioning Support: Assist shift leaders and operators in case of complex incidents, track punch lists, validate tests, and ensure compliance with contractual guarantees.

Profile Sought

Education:

• Bachelor's degree (Bac +4 / Bac +3) or Higher Technical Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Electricity, or equivalent.

Experience:

• Minimum 5 years in supervising electrical teams in an industrial environment.


• Experience with high/low voltage equipment, O&M maintenance, and subcontractor coordination.

Technical Skills:

• Knowledge of industrial electrical systems and safety standards.


• Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams and P&IDs.


• Management of preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance.


• Proficiency in CMMS tools.


• Knowledge of IEC, NFPA, IEEE, BS standards appreciated.
