The Packaging Expert is responsible for the industrialization and maintenance of application packages used on workstations. They create, validate, and maintain packages according to internal standards, in close collaboration with project, security, and production teams.
They ensure that packaged applications meet technical, security, compatibility, and performance requirements, while ensuring their smooth integration into automated deployment pipelines.

Main tasks
• Design, package, test, and maintain applications with PSADT and App-V
• Perform compatibility analyses and pre-creation tests for packages
• Accurately document packaging processes, installation procedures, rollback, and dependencies
• Keep the catalog of packaged applications, versions, and technical repository up to date
• Contribute to the validation of packages in qualification environments (UAT, pre-production)
• Integrate packages into automated deployment tools (CI/CD, Intune, SCCM, etc.)
• Monitor the deployment of packages
• Provide expert-level support for incidents related to packaged applications
• Work with security teams to integrate hardening, privileges, and compliance constraints
• Participate in defining best practices and continuous improvement of the packaging process
• Stay updated on the evolution of Microsoft standards and virtualization tools
