We are looking for a Fluid Engineer. As a Fluid Engineer, your tasks will focus on the design, optimization, and monitoring of systems that manage fluid flows. You will be a key player in ensuring the performance, safety, and compliance of facilities. Your technical expertise will directly contribute to the efficiency of industrial processes and the reduction of energy consumption. Achieving these goals will involve rigorous analysis, proposing innovative solutions, and close collaboration with the various project stakeholders.
Your daily responsibilities will cover a wide range of technical and project management activities. You will be asked to:
- Conduct design and dimensioning studies for fluid networks (water, compressed air, steam, gas, etc.).
- Participate in the selection of appropriate equipment and materials.
- Prepare schematic diagrams, layout plans, and calculation notes.
- Supervise the implementation of installations and monitor work in workshops and on site.
- Perform technical assessments and propose continuous improvement solutions.
- Participate in the acceptance of installations and the drafting of technical reports.
- Ensure compliance with current standards and regulations in the field of fluids.
- Collaborate with production, maintenance, and design office teams to ensure optimal integration of systems.
Required profile :
To be considered for this exciting role, a Master's degree (Bac +5) or higher is required. Ideally, you have obtained your degree in a specialization related to fluid mechanics, energy, process engineering, or a relevant related discipline for fluid systems management. A degree focused on HVAC could also be considered if complemented by a strong understanding of fluid system operating principles and their interactions.
Significant initial experience, ranging from 1 to 3 years, in a similar role is expected. This period should have allowed you to develop a practical understanding of the challenges related to the design, installation, and maintenance of fluid systems. You should have become familiar with the technical and regulatory aspects specific to this sector. Experience in an industrial environment, involving the handling of various fluids and the use of specialized equipment, will be a major asset.
Beyond your education and experience, certain key skills are essential for success in this role. You have a solid understanding of fluid mechanics and thermodynamics principles. Your ability to use simulation and computer-aided design (CAD) software is essential. You are known for your analytical rigor, your organizational skills, and your ability to solve complex problems. Good communication, both written and oral, is also crucial for effective interaction with teams and partners. Proficiency in specific standards and regulations for fluid installations is a definite plus.
