Job : Description of tasks:


  • Collaborate with the design office at the start of projects

  • Prepare cost estimates for parts lists

  • Analyze the availability and obsolescence of products and components from parts lists

  • Ensure follow-up of negotiation files or customer tenders

  • Format tenders, analyze responses, and select suppliers and subcontractors

  • Negotiate framework agreements with service providers or suppliers

  • Award contracts to suppliers

  • Monitor and prevent the risk of obsolescence

  • Analyze the impacts of obsolescence and propose suitable solutions

  • Participate in supplier and subcontractor audits

  • Track qualitative and quantitative performance indicators related to suppliers, subcontractors, and customers

  • Evaluate and qualify suppliers and subcontractors

  • Understand and analyze Net Requirements Calculation from the ERP

  • Maintain and update the ERP database

  • Generate supplier orders related to Net Requirements Calculation and purchase requests

  • Process and track non-conformities

  • Communicate with Scheduling and Production departments to inform of potential shortages

  • Distribute internal and external results

  • Manage and coordinate all internal physical flows

  • Respect and optimize flows (deadlines, stocks, quality, prices...)

  • Identify and prevent risks

  • Ensure the expected quality of purchased products

  • Manage the budget allocated to purchases

  • Negotiate

  • Develop and maintain partnerships with suppliers, subcontractors, and customers

  • Write and maintain procedures up to date

  • Participate in continuous improvement by being proactive with suggestions

  • Ensure the quality of service provided to customers (price, deadline, quality, compliance)



Required profile :

Minimum education level required: Master's degree (Bac+5)




Professional experience: At least 3 years of experience in Supply Chain Management & Purchasing in the aeronautics sector




Specific professional knowledge:





  • Ability to read plans and technical data sheets

  • Proficiency in office software (Word, Excel, email...)

  • Good knowledge of Import/Export flows

  • Anticipate and resolve customs delays

  • Utilize ERP and specific software for their areas of activity

  • Ensure a good level of written and spoken French

  • Proficiency in English

  • Conduct technological and economic watch to stay informed about market changes

  • Knowledge of Special Processes

  • Management of documentation related to the shipment and receipt of goods (Bill of Lading, Commercial Invoice, First Article Inspection...)
