• Establish instructions, technical documents, and programs necessary for the manufacturing of items within the given deadlines


• Analyze and improve manufacturing processes


• Handle costing, creation of manufacturing routes, and bills of materials


• Develop the standard time base for manufacturing routes and define workstations, optimizing quality, productivity, and safety

Main activities:

• Produce prototypes


• Develop product technical data sheets


• Calculate the cost price (costing)


• Develop the operational route and the manufacturing flowchart


• Launch the program on machines and monitor machine parameter settings


• Codify Finished and Semi-Finished articles


• Develop the bill of materials on JDE, and ensure its update


• Define the theoretical route time


• Monitor series production and develop action plans for improvement


• Analyze raw material consumption variances compared to the bill of materials


• Organize and monitor the implementation of product modifications on production lines.


• Calculate product productivity (materials, scrap rate, material standardization, etc.)


• Create Articles or Promotion packs on JDE


• Participate in the processing of internal and external defects


• Participate in budget meetings


• Time study operations and develop a standard time base


• Develop a capacity base for equipment and production lines


• Balance production lines


• Define and implement processes during the development of new products


• Develop workstation documents


• Participate in the development of new equipment, and in the creation of specifications


• Participate in the validation of new equipment (compliance with specifications, speed, quality, safety)


• Participate in defining the layout of workstations


• Adapt, optimize, and make equipment profitable to achieve productivity goals in collaboration with New Works


• Study capacity relative to workload


• Ensure product quality through the control of various process parameters


• Participate in improvement projects (SMED and TPM, Hoshin, VSM, 5S, GRP, etc.)


• Contribute to the development of Process FMEA, and to the creation of monitoring plans


• Develop and update workstation documents


• Participate in the analysis and processing of internal and external defects


• Analyze and develop action plans for waste reduction
