The main goal of this position is to ensure impeccable accounting and financial management, in perfect alignment with the standards of our higher education institution. This involves guaranteeing the reliability of the financial information produced, thus enabling various stakeholders to make informed decisions. This role is also a lever for optimizing financial resources, aiming to support the strategic development of the school in the competitive Import / Export / Trading sector. You will actively participate in the implementation and monitoring of internal procedures, thereby ensuring the compliance and efficiency of all financial operations.

Your responsibilities will be numerous and strategic. You will be in charge of the complete management of the general and analytical accounting of the institution. This includes recording daily operations, account reconciliation, and preparing periodic financial statements. You will also ensure rigorous treasury monitoring, management of customer and supplier invoices, and bank reconciliation. The preparation of tax and social declarations will be an integral part of your duties. You will contribute to the preparation of projected budgets and monitor their execution, analyzing discrepancies and proposing corrective actions. Participation in the continuous improvement of accounting processes and the implementation of effective reporting tools will also be expected. Establishing a relationship of trust with external auditors and financial partners will be a key element of your success.

To excel in this role, a strong academic background is essential. We are looking for someone with a Bachelor's degree +4 years of higher education, demonstrating a thorough understanding of financial and accounting issues. A specialization in Management, Accounting, or Finance is highly preferred. Ideally, a focus on the Education sector would be an additional asset, although not exclusive, to understand the specifics of our operational environment.

Experience is a determining factor for this position. We expect the candidate to have proven expertise in accounting, acquired through significant professional experience. This implies a demonstrated mastery of accounting techniques, a thorough knowledge of French and/or Moroccan standards, and the ability to independently manage the entire accounting cycle.

Beyond technical skills, this position requires proven personal qualities. High rigor, a keen sense of organization, and strong analytical skills are paramount to ensure the accuracy and reliability of financial information. You must demonstrate great autonomy and proactivity to successfully carry out your missions. Proficiency in computer tools, particularly accounting software (e.g., Sage, QuickBooks, or equivalents) and spreadsheets (Excel), is essential. Excellent communication, both written and oral, is necessary to interact effectively with the school's various departments and external partners. The ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines will also be a major asset.
