Join our dynamic company in the Import / Export / Trading sector, based in Casablanca! As the Group Chief Accountant H/F, you will be a key player in our success, directly contributing to the company's financial performance. The main objective of this position is to ensure rigorous and efficient accounting management. It involves guaranteeing the reliability of financial data, respecting accounting and tax standards, and providing relevant financial information for decision-making. You will also be involved in the continuous improvement of accounting processes and the development of our financial management tools, thereby contributing to the company's performance.
Your responsibilities will cover a wide range of accounting tasks, including:
Maintaining general accounting: recording accounting operations, bank reconciliations, account reconciliation.
Managing tax declarations: VAT, corporate tax, other taxes.
Preparing balance sheets and income statements: analyzing financial data, identifying strengths and weaknesses.
Management control: monitoring budgets, analyzing variances, proposing corrective actions.
Managing relations with external auditors: collaborating with auditors during annual audits.
Participating in the improvement of accounting processes: identifying areas for improvement, proposing innovative solutions.
You will work in close collaboration with the management team and will interact with various departments of the company.
Required profile :
A minimum of 4 years of higher education (Bac +4) is required for this position. A specialization in Sales / Marketing / Export would be a considerable asset, demonstrating a thorough understanding of the financial aspects related to international transactions. Additional training in accounting would be a significant plus.
We are looking for someone with professional experience of 10 to 20 years in a similar role. Significant experience in accounting within a company in the Import / Export / Trading sector would be highly appreciated. Experience in team management would be a plus if you are aiming for a management position.

Mastery of accounting principles and Moroccan accounting standards.

Good interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team.
Proficiency in French (written and spoken) is essential.
