Job Description

The BMS Supervisor is responsible for the management, supervision, and optimization of the centralized system for CoreLabs infrastructures. They ensure the proper functioning of automated equipment such as ventilation, air conditioning, alarm management, and other critical systems, to guarantee the operational performance of the CoreLab laboratories.

This role involves coordinating preventive and corrective maintenance activities, functional testing, monitoring performance indicators, and planning and implementing system updates and improvements.

Main Responsibilities

Operational Supervision and Management

• Supervise the daily operation and maintenance of the BMS system covering all CoreLabs premises.
• Ensure continuous monitoring of system performance and availability.
• Guarantee adherence to safety protocols and regulatory compliance related to the operation of automated systems.

Monitoring and Troubleshooting

• Continuously monitor BMS systems to detect any anomalies or malfunctions.
• Quickly diagnose and resolve faults, or coordinate external specialized interventions if necessary.
• Maintain detailed reports on incidents, interventions, repairs, and modifications.

Maintenance and Continuous Improvement

• Plan and supervise the implementation of preventive maintenance according to defined schedules.
• Regularly update BMS-related software.
• Collaborate with engineering and infrastructure management teams to plan and integrate technological advancements.
• Propose and implement improvements aimed at optimizing energy management, safety, and comfort.

Administrative Management and Reporting

• Keep technical documentation related to the system and operating procedures up to date.
• Prepare periodic reports for management, summarizing performance and incidents.
• Participate in the development of budgets related to BMS maintenance and improvement projects.

Profile Sought

• Bachelor's degree (Bac +3) or higher in electrical engineering, automation, industrial computing, energy, or a similar field.
• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in the supervision or operational management of a BMS system, ideally in a commercial, industrial, or institutional environment.
• Very good technical knowledge of building automation systems (HVAC, lighting, access control, fire safety).
• Proficiency in common BMS software and platforms (e.g., Johnson Controls, Tridium Niagara, Distech, Automated Logic, etc.).
• Proven skills in diagnosing, maintaining, and troubleshooting automated equipment.
• Rigor, organizational skills, autonomy, and good interpersonal skills.
